The Scottish Photographic Circle

Founded in 1907 at a meeting by a group of enthusiastic artists.
This was to be a historic meeting at which it was agreed that a society be formed to promote Pictorial Photography in Scotland through lectures and discussions on art.

In October 2007, the Circle celebrated its Centenary with various exhibitions showing members' work.

Glasgow City Council recognised this Centenary year by holding a Civic Reception and Dinner to mark this historic event in the life of Scottish Photography

Affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
